In 2005 the inner circle of KAP WLODEK formed POCH as an (off)side project to pursue the harsh style of SPEAKING MACHINE and take it back to a more folkloric language. Quickly POCH changed into a sort of “artificial homeless-project”: Many recordings were done in deserted gardens and a huge factory, that has been empty for a long time. Finally mixed down on the great Studer A 62, nevertheless, the sound remains pretty rude. So take care of your ears.

KAP WLODEK started as a rude lofi-project to realize music no one could ever buy in a record-store.
Obsessed with a minimalistic sort of „artificial folk”, KAP WLODEK quickly became a large ensemble, released their début (Trikont, 1999), reached London, produced music for films, theatre and own „educational shows“.
